Food & farming future

African Canadian Farmers Fund

Fostering African Canadians’ participation in the food and farm sector through an innovative Rent-to-Own farmland access program.

If you are a Canadian resident, identify as being from an Afro culture, and are looking for support in accessing farmland for long-term stewardship and eventual ownership, then this Fund could be for you.

The Nourish Fund

A fund designed for equity-deserving farmers and food businesses based in Scarborough and surrounding urban areas. We offer tailored financing options for local urban farms and food processing businesses, prioritizing racialized and equity-deserving farmers and organizations.

Whether you're growing vegetables in raised beds, crafting food products in a community kitchen, or running a social enterprise that nourishes your neighbourhood — we want to hear from you.

Inclusive Prosperity, in partnership with Ontario Farmland Trust (OFT), is increasing access to land for farmers who face systemic barriers in agriculture.

Located in Tiverton, Ontario, we offer affordable and accessible farmland for African, Indigenous, and other racialized farmers of all experience-levels seeking land access while contributing to a community-led, sustainable agriculture initiative.
